Vancouver based photojournalist Wendell Phillips has earned 29 Picture of the Year awards, 3 National Magazine awards and was voted Canada’s News Photographer of the Year. His work has been seen in over a hundred publications, networks that include BBC World News, South China Morning Post, Time magazine, and the New York Times.

Wendell will share thirty years of award winning photojournalism from  editorial assignments in the Middle East, Africa, South America, Asia, Europe, and the polar Arctic. From street photography, war zones,  to coverage of the Olympic Games, his narrative will give account to photographic decisions made in fleeting seconds of opportunity that include equipment choices, attention to light  while documenting the human condition in a vast mosaic of working environments.
